Valentine’s Day

So here’s the thing: not making plans for Valentine’s Day is going to get you broken up with and winter can be long and lonely. Make plans to properly pamper your love on Valentine’s Day and join us for a four course tasting menu created by Executive Chef Jared Wentworth and Chef de Cuisine Matt Sliwinski. Choose from a 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM seating for $65/person. Add sommelier- selected wine pairings to each course for $35/person  (plus tax and gratuity).

Due to the nature of the tasting menu, we cannot accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions. Reservations must be held with a credit card and can be made by calling 312-801-2100 and talking to Diana.

Menu

First Course:   Salad of hearts of Palm and winter citrus, frisee, smoked salmon roe, Maine lobster, vanilla citrus emulsion

Second Course:  Hearth roasted quail, root vegetable succotash, black trumpet mushrooms, pomegranate glaze

Third Course:  Roast tenderloin of beef, truffled cream of wheat, glazed cippolini onions, smoked carrots, golden raisin vinaigrette

Fourth Course:  Port soaked chocolate baba, apricot nougat and puree, chewy port sorbeto, house made bitter almond ricotta dumpling

 

Vegetarian Menu

First Course:   Salad of hearts of Palm and winter citrus, frisee, vanilla citrus emulsion

Second Course:  Celery root agnolotti, butternut squash, apple, chestnut, charred cippolini onion, brown butter apple emulsion

Third Course:  Harissa marinated tofu, local barley, roasted carrot, bell pepper, goat cheese, arbequina olive

Fourth Course:  Port soaked chocolate baba, apricot nougat and puree, chewy port sorbeto, house made bitter almond ricotta dumpling

Be the most romantic with a pre or post-dinner cocktail that’s meant to be shared.  Sit side by side and sip hand-crafted cocktails for two and then join us upstairs  as soul jazz legends Norman Connors, Michael Henderson and Jean Carne reunite to perform their timeless 1975 hit “Valentine Love.”  Showtimes are 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM and tickets are on sale now.
